Privacy Policy

This policy covers Lumina at imgstools.com, including the image editors, public-media download tools, blog, and restricted administration area. Those features do not all handle data in the same way.

Image editing is local to your browser. Public-media tools are server-assisted: the URL you paste is sent to Lumina so the service can request the public page, locate available media, and return or stream a result.

Files selected in Enhance, Compress, Resize, Convert, Crop, Rotate, and Filters are decoded and processed with browser image and canvas APIs on your device. Lumina does not send those selected files to its application server.

The browser keeps the working image and generated previews in memory for the active page. Leaving or reloading the page clears that working state. Downloading saves the result to the location chosen by your browser; Lumina does not overwrite the source file.

When you use a Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or YouTube tool, Lumina receives the public URL you submit. Its server may contact the relevant platform, a platform CDN, or a public resolution service to identify the files exposed for that public post.

Some downloads are returned through a Lumina streaming route. The application does not intentionally write the downloaded media to its database or object storage, but the URL and ordinary request details can appear in technical server, hosting, proxy, or CDN logs. Retention of infrastructure logs depends on the service configuration.

A remote preview can also be loaded directly from a platform or CDN into your browser. That provider then receives the normal information needed to serve a web request, such as your IP address, browser details, and the requested file URL.

No public-user account is required to use the tools. Lumina does maintain a restricted administration area for authorized editors. Those administrators sign in through Supabase, which processes their account identifiers, authentication details, and session cookies.

Blog drafts and published post records are stored in Supabase. Images deliberately uploaded by an administrator for blog publishing are stored in Cloudflare R2 and served from the configured public media domain. These administration flows are separate from images visitors edit with the public browser tools.

Lumina's public tools do not require an advertising cookie or a public-user session. Authentication cookies are used for the restricted administration area. The current application does not save public tool work or blog drafts in browser local storage.

The current application code does not include an advertising or behavioral analytics tracker. The hosting stack can still create standard technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service. Lumina does not sell personal data.

Lumina relies on hosting and delivery infrastructure, Supabase for restricted authentication and blog records, and Cloudflare R2-compatible storage for published blog media. Public-media features communicate with the platform named by the tool and, where the implementation requires it, a public media resolution service or CDN.

Blog credits and articles can link to external websites. Following an external link moves you to that site's privacy practices, which Lumina does not control.

Visitor-selected images are not retained by Lumina because the editing flow does not upload them. The public-media application routes do not intentionally create a permanent media archive. Temporary memory and network buffers exist while a request is completed; technical request logs can remain under the infrastructure provider's retention settings.

Administrator accounts, blog posts, and administrator-uploaded blog media remain until an authorized administrator updates or deletes them, subject to provider backups and operational retention.

Lumina uses technical controls such as restricted administration, server-side secrets, and allowlisted upstream media hosts. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting a public URL if it contains information you do not want in request logs.

You can avoid server-assisted processing by using only the local image-editing tools. You can also clear site cookies in your browser and remove downloaded files from your own device at any time.

Lumina is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. The service does not knowingly seek personal information from children through its public tools.

This policy may change when the product or its providers change. The date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes should be reviewed before you continue using the affected feature.
