Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lumina, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms cover the image-editing tools, public-media download tools, blog, and restricted administration features at imgstools.com.

You must be legally able to enter into these terms where you live. If you use Lumina for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.

Lumina provides browser-based tools for enhancing, compressing, resizing, converting, cropping, rotating, and filtering images. Those editing operations run locally in the browser. Lumina also provides server-assisted tools that attempt to resolve available media from supported public Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube links.

The service is provided without a public-user account requirement. Features, supported formats, source-platform availability, and technical limits can change as the product and third-party services change.

You retain the rights you already hold in images you edit. Lumina does not claim a license to visitor-selected images merely because you process them locally with an editing tool.

Technical availability is not permission. A public post can still be protected by copyright, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights. You may download, edit, or reuse third-party material only when you own it, have permission, or have another lawful basis.

Public-media tools are limited to supported links that are accessible without Lumina using your personal platform account. You must not use Lumina to bypass private accounts, paywalls, membership restrictions, age gates, digital rights management, or other access controls.

You are responsible for following the source platform's terms and the law that applies to your use. Lumina is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, or YouTube. Platform names identify the source a tool supports.

You agree not to use the service to:

• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• obtain or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or non-consensual material;
• bypass access controls or retrieve content that is not publicly available to the service;
• probe, disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with Lumina or its providers;
• introduce malware, misrepresent the service, or use it to facilitate fraud.

Lumina may restrict or block requests that threaten the service, its users, source platforms, or third parties.

You are responsible for reviewing every output before relying on it. Compression, conversion, enhancement, filtering, resizing, and cropping can change quality, color, transparency, metadata, dimensions, or file size. Keep an original backup.

You are also responsible for choosing a safe download location, scanning files when appropriate, and confirming that a downloaded media result matches the public post and intended quality.

Lumina depends on hosting, storage, database, authentication, platform, CDN, and media resolution services. Their availability and behavior are outside Lumina's complete control. A source platform can change or remove a stream, post, format, or endpoint at any time.

External links, including source credits and platform links, lead to services governed by their own terms and policies. Lumina is not responsible for third-party sites or content.

Lumina may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. It does not guarantee that every browser can process every image, that every public link can be resolved, or that a temporary download URL will remain available.

Maintenance, provider changes, abuse prevention, security concerns, and legal obligations can interrupt access without advance notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, rights claims, unavailable third-party media, or reliance on an output. Limits that are not lawful in your jurisdiction do not apply to you.

Lumina may update these terms to reflect product, provider, security, or legal changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
